§ 05 — CNC & UV Finishing

From plastic to finished product.

Beyond 3D printing: CNC machining in wood and aluminium, plus UV printing on virtually any surface using Roland UV inks — including white. One purchase order covers prototyping, machining, printing, finishing, and packaging.

Multi-process, one roof

Real products rarely come off a single machine. An enclosure gets printed, its front panel machined, its legend UV-printed, and the whole thing assembled and packed. Splitting that across four vendors means four quotes, four lead times, and three hand-offs where tolerances go to die. Here it’s one PO, one point of contact, one accountable result.

CNC in wood and aluminium

Machined parts where printed plastic isn’t the answer: structural aluminium brackets, wooden panels and fixtures, engraving, and precision cuts in sheet material. CNC work pairs naturally with printed parts — the printed prototype proves the geometry, the machined version ships.

UV printing — including white

Roland UV inks print directly onto virtually any surface: plastic, wood, aluminium, glass, coated panels. White ink is the difference-maker — it prints opaque graphics on dark and transparent substrates where standard CMYK simply disappears. Control legends on black enclosures, branded panels, badges, signage faces, one-offs and runs alike.

CNC & UV questions, answered.

Can you print white on dark or clear materials?

Yes — that’s exactly what the white Roland UV ink is for. Opaque white prints directly onto black, dark, or transparent substrates, alone or as a base layer under full-colour graphics.

Do you take one-off jobs or only production runs?

Both. One-off machined parts, single UV-printed panels, and full production runs are all quoted the same way: send the specs, get a fixed quote back.

Can a single order combine printing, machining, and finishing?

Yes — that’s the point of the service. One purchase order can cover prototyping, CNC machining, UV printing, finishing, assembly, and packaging, with one point of contact throughout.
